Our Story.
If you visited Chapelton Farmers’ back in 2020, you may have visited our market stall and picked up a Breer Pie!
Dale and I created brae and opened up the doors of our new business back in the summer of 2022 after months of renovations, planning, training and excitement.  We left our ‘proper’ jobs behind and put all our energy and love into creating brae and everything it stands for today.  
Dale is a trained chef and works in the brae production kitchen, preparing all the scones, soup, sausage rolls, salads and all those beautiful cakes and traybakes you see in the display. Dale takes the lead in all things food prep and enjoys a pinterest screenshot or two from me with suggestions of the next cake or toastie filling.
With a background in project management, I (Jodie) manage operations including the front of house team at the cafe, take the lead in all things coffee, cake display and social media.
