Café Space Hire Policy
1. Overview
Our café is available for private hire outside of normal trading hours (evenings from 4:30pm or Sundays), or by arrangement during quieter periods or planned holiday closures. The space is suitable for small gatherings, meetings, workshops, and community events. All hires are subject to availability and approval by café management.
2. Hire Rates
Standard hire rate: £30 per hour
Minimum booking: 2 hours
Set-up / pack-down time: Must be included in the booking hours
Discounted rates may be offered for regular bookings or community groups, at the café’s discretion.
3. What’s Included
Exclusive use of the café seating area. We have window bench seating with 9 seats / tall stools. We also have 9 identical square tables that can be arranged in a variety of set-ups. We also have 20 chairs, 3 stools and 3 highchairs with tray tables for use.

Access to Wi-Fi
Toilets
Use of single mobile speaker. This can be connected to your own device via bluetooth.
Not included unless agreed in advance:
Kitchen use (additional charge)
Barista service or staff presence (charged at £20 per hour)
4. Food & Drink
Catering, drinks packages, or barista service may be available on request and charged separately.
5. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the booking.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before the hire start date.
Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.
6. Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 7 days before the booking may transfer the deposit to a future date (subject to availability).
Cancellations within 7 days of the booking will forfeit the deposit.
The café reserves the right to cancel in exceptional circumstances, in which case all payments will be refunded.
7. Capacity & Conduct
Maximum capacity must not be exceeded.
Hirers are responsible for the behaviour of their guests.
Any damage to furniture, equipment, or the premises will be charged to the hirer.
We reserve the right to end a hire early if conduct is unsafe, disruptive, or not in line with the café’s values.
8. Cleaning & Leaving the Space
The space must be left tidy and in good condition.
Additional cleaning required due to misuse will incur an extra charge.
9. Insurance & Liability
The café accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking, the hirer agrees to these terms and conditions in full.
