Kids are always welcome at Brae. Warm service, relaxed atmosphere and a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. We hope this section of our website helps clarify any queries you might have before visiting us with your wee ones.

Lunch

Kids lunch trays have lots of options to select from so we hope you’ll manage to find a combination that suits your wee ones tastes. All items are subject to availability at time of order but we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Kids lunch trays are £9.95 per child.

1) Choose a Sandwich or Small Mug of Soup & Bread
- Tuna Mayo Sandwich (fish, egg, wheat, gluten, barley)
- Cheddar Cheese Sandwich (milk, wheat, gluten, barley)
- Honey Roast Ham Sandwich (honey, wheat, gluten, barley)
- Small Mug of Soup & Bread (see board for today’s soup & allergens)

**Please note, kids sandwiches are prepared on white tiger bread with plant butter and the selected filling. Allergens for Tiger Bread (milk, wheat, gluten, barley. May also contain egg, soya, rye, oats, spelt, kamut, mustard & lupin).

There is not a specific soup for children therefore please see menu board for todays soup option.

2) Choose a Drink
- Cawston Press Box Juice (Sunshine Orange, Apple & Pear, Apple, Summer Berries)

- Fruit Shoot (Blackcurrant or Orange)

- Cup of Milk

- Innocent Kids Smoothie)

3) Choose Yoghurt & Fruit

4) Choose a Treat
- Half Slice of Homemade Birthday Sprinkle Cake (egg, gluten, wheat, milk, soya)

- Ella’s Kitchen Melty Sticks (may contain milk, gluten, soya)
- Ella's Kitchen Melty Puffs (wheat, may contain soya, milk)
- Kids Simply Sweet Proper Corn Popcorn

Useful Things to Know

We have a large selection of toys, games and books on the toy trolley available for your child to use. This is located at the counter, below the cake display.

Our front door is wide enough to accommodate buggies. There is no step therefore access should be straightfoward. Buggies can be stored at the rear of the building in good weather. Chapelton benefits from free parking so you’re only a short distance from the car to the door.

We have plastic cups, plates and small forks and knives available.

We provide baby wipes and nappy bags within the baby changing facility located within the accessible toilets at the back of the cafe.

We have IKEA highchairs and trays for them. Highchairs are sanitised after each use but we also have wet wipes available on the toy trolley if required.

Babyccinos are FREE of charge!

We are members of the Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland Scheme - you are welcome and will be supported during your visit. Please ask for any hot drinks to be served in takeaway cups to keep your drinks hotter for longer and ask for sandwiches and toasties to be cut into bitesize pieces if this would support your lunch experience whilst breastfeeding or bottle feeding your child.

We have tap water available for self service on the toy trolley but ask a member of our team to assist if required.
